Ukraine’s air defense forces intercepted two Kh-47M2 Kinzhal hypersonic ballistic missiles in the Kyiv region and shot down 32 enemy strike drones in the Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Chernihiv, Poltava and Kharkiv regions. The Ukrainian Air Force announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

This is according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine update as of 22:00 on Sunday, October 6, posted on Facebook, Ukrinform saw. “Since the beginning of the day, there have been 99 combat clashes, the enemy launched six missile strikes (seven missiles), conducted 72 air strikes (including the use of 94 guided aerial bombs), and carried out 653 kamikaze drone strikes and 3,417 shelling attacks on the Ukrainian forces’ positions,” the post reads.
