This film stars award－winning Marilou Berry as sixteen year-old Hannah, in this sweet, ugly duckling story about the hurdles of growing up. Set in 1960’s post-war France and based on the book The First Time I Was 16, this is the debut film for French director Lorraine Lévy. An excellent yet under credited film seasoned with moving Jazz music.

膠捲女孩 Girls Make Media That Matters 膠捲女孩工作室 Reel Grrls 2006／美國／紀錄片Documentary／Color／Beta／31min30 2007 韓國女性影展 年輕女孩經常都是被鏡頭獵奇的對象，如果有一天她們拿起攝影機，會發生什麼事呢？本片是「膠捲女孩工作室」在2001到2005年間，邀請14到18歲之間的女孩實際參與媒體運作過程，所關心議題包括暴力、種族、身體意象、自我認同……等，作品呈現青春洋溢的創意與熱情。
A compilation of short films made between 2001 and 2005, “Girls Make Media That Matters” tackles the issues of violence, empowerment, race, identity, body image, and girls in the media. The films are all shot from the perspective of teenage girls.

導演介紹：佛羅倫斯‧艾伊希出生於西非的喀麥隆，在當地的University of Yaoundé 拿到英國文學學位。之後到英國繼續深造，主要的研究領域是電影與電視。拿到了英國里德的Northern chool of Film and Television (NFTV)的製作與導演碩士學位，在英國University of Hull 拿到劇場和媒體製作與碩士，並在倫敦繼續修習電視和新聞製作方面的博士。Florence在英國多個學校與機構擔任教職，現為威爾斯大學電影學院的資深講師。主要教課內容為電影的理論與實作。她的教學與研究興趣包括製片、導演、剪接、非洲觀影研究、電影中的女性、影像的再現、文化認同等。
