On September 11, the Ukrainian Defense Forces engaged in 141 clashes with Russian invaders, with the hottest activity reported in the Pokrovsk sector, where the enemy attempted 32 attacks.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, providing operational information as of 22:00 on Thursday, September 11, according to Ukrinform.
“Since the beginning of the day, a total of 141 combat engagements have taken place. The enemy carried out 56 airstrikes, dropping 90 guided aerial bombs, launched 1,729 drone attacks, and shelled our positions 3,257 times,” the statement reads.
The Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors saw two enemy attacks. The invaders carried out seven airstrikes, dropping 15 guided bombs, and launched 70 attacks on Ukrainian positions, including two with multiple rocket launchers.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, 14 clashes occurred near Vovchansk, Ambarne, and toward Odradne. One engagement is still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy carried out seven attacks on Ukrainian positions, with fighting reported near Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, and toward Kurylivka.
In the Lyman sector, Russian forces stormed Ukrainian positions 24 times near Hrekivka, Torske, Yampil, Shandryholove, and Drobysheve. Four clashes are still ongoing.
In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled six enemy attempts to advance near Hryhorivka, Serebrianka, Dronivka, and Vyimka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukraine’s Defense Forces stopped one enemy attack near Stupochky.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy stormed Ukrainian positions 13 times near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Katerynivka, Rusyn Yar, Mayak, and Poltavka. Ukrainian forces repelled all assaults.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian forces attempted 32 attacks on Ukrainian units, with activity reported near Promin, Nikanorivka, Mayak, Novoekonomichne, Rodynske, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, Dachne, and Filia, as well as toward Pokrovsk itself. One engagement is still ongoing.
Preliminary estimates indicate that Ukrainian forces eliminated 79 enemy combatants and wounded 42, destroying six vehicles and 17 enemy drones in this sector.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy attempted 24 breakthroughs near Piddubne, Yalta, Sosnivka, Ivanivka, Filia, Zelenyi Hai, Tolstoi, Maliivka, Komyshuvakha, Olhivske, Poltavka, and toward Novoivanivka. Fighting continues in two locations.
In the Huliaipole and Orikhiv sectors, no enemy attacks were conducted, though airstrikes hit Bilohiria and Zaliznychne.
In the Prydniprovske sector, the enemy launched two failed attacks and conducted airstrikes near Odradokamianka.
“No significant changes in the situation have been recorded in other sectors,” the General Staff summarized.
