According to Egyptian prosecutors, Khalifa and her accomplices formed a highly organized criminal syndicate that smuggled chemical precursors from abroad and covertly transformed two luxury apartments in Cairo into synthetic drug laboratories. During the raids, police seized over 750 kilograms of manufactured drugs and raw materials, along with multiple unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
檢方指出，哈利法在集團中扮演資金調度與組織協調的關鍵角色。本案共起訴 28 名被告，法院在徵詢埃及最高宗教領袖大穆夫提（Grand Mufti）的意見後，確認對包含哈利法在內的 12 名主嫌判處死刑；另有 9 人遭判無期徒刑，7 人獲判無罪。
Prosecutors stated that Khalifa played a pivotal role in financing and coordinating the organization. A total of 28 defendants were indicted in the case. After consulting the legal and religious opinion of Egypt’s Grand Mufti, the court confirmed the death penalty for 12 prime suspects, including Khalifa, while sentencing nine others to life imprisonment and acquitting seven.

Legal Team to Appeal, Fighting for a Final Lifeline
本案目前已完成埃及刑事審判的法務與宗教審核程序。哈利法的委任律師團隊發表聲明，確認將向埃及最高上訴法院（Court of Cassation）提出上訴。
The case has now concluded the legal and religious review phases of Egypt’s criminal trial process. Khalifa’s legal team issued a statement confirming their intent to file an appeal with Egypt’s Court of Cassation.
由於最高上訴法院僅針對審判程序是否合法進行終審裁決（法律審），若上訴遭駁回，死刑判決將隨之定讞並移交執行，哈利法屆時將面臨絞刑處決。
As the Court of Cassation only rules on the legality and procedural integrity of the trial, if the appeal is rejected, the death sentence will become final and proceed to execution, leaving Khalifa to face the gallows.
