How much would Carrie Bradshaw’s NYC apartment in ‘SATC’ cost today?

If “Sex and the City” character Carrie Bradshaw still lived in her one-bedroom apartment on the Upper East Side, it would cost a bit more than what it was worth when she first lived there.

The fashionista writer allegedly paid only $700 per month for the apartment she rented at 245 E. 73rd. The problem? It doesn’t really exist. The last door on the block, near Second Avenue, is No. 243.

Most of the shots seen on the hit show were actually filmed in the West Village, at the stoop of 66 Perry St.

But if you wanted to score a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment in the Upper East Side neighborhood today, you’d have to cough up at least $3,000 per month, according to John Walkup, co-founder of real estate data analytics company UrbanDigs. Since there is no doorman, no elevator and it’s in a pre-war townhouse, the average price would be considered a bit cheaper than other options in the tony neighborhood.

“To buy the apartment: Based on recent post-reopening sales, it would cost between $550-$600K,” Walkup explained. “To rent the apartment: It would cost between $3K-$3.5K per month.”

On the other hand, if you were eyeing a place in the trendy West Village, Walkup says a place like the one filmed in the show would cost upward of $880,000 to own, and on average, about $4,100 to rent.

As fans of the show know, a reboot titled “And Just Like That …” is underway, set to air on HBO Max. Only this time, the series will be without the esteemed Samantha Jones, played by Kim Cattrall.

Cattrall, 64, has been vocal about her decision to step away from the franchise for good following the latest film — “Sex and the City 2” — which premiered over a decade ago.

Sarah Jessica Parker, 55, Kristin Davis, 55, and Cynthia Nixon, 54, are all set to reprise their roles as Carrie, Charlotte York Goldenblatt and Miranda Hobbes.
