Long-term care home’s Marigold (5N) area is experiencing a COVID-19 outbreak.
THUNDER BAY – A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at the Hogarth Riverview Manor long-term care home in Thunder Bay.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit and St. Joseph’s Care Group confirmed on Tuesday that a COVID-19 outbreak is affecting the Marigold (5N) resident home area.
TBDHU has initiated a thorough assessment of the situation. Further measures will be taken as needed to manage this situation.
Prior to the outbreak, significant measures were already in place to reduce likelihood of transmission of the virus within the facility.
